About
Hoofbeat Ridge Camps is a 250-acre camp located 25 miles west of Madison, WI, in the rolling hills overlooking the Wisconsin River Valley. The camp offers a safe, non-competitive family atmosphere where campers can develop new friendships, become more self-reliant, and foster an appreciation of the land and animal life. During the summer months, the camp offers a Day Camp program for girls and boys, while from September to May, various youth programs are available, including Girl Scout and Boy Scout weekends, Horse Lovers day programs, and Christmas Camp. The camp also accommodates group retreats, offering dormitory-style bunkhouses, a lodge, and a large dining hall for home-cooked meals. Activities include horseback riding, hiking trails, campfires, and tractor-drawn hayrides.
