Holly Bluff Family Campground is a family-owned campground located in Asheboro, North Carolina, nestled in the heart of the Uwharrie Mountains. Celebrating over 56 years in operation since 1968, it is one of the oldest and highest-recommended campgrounds in the Central Piedmont region of North Carolina. The campground offers large, shady campsites with three-way hookups (electric, water, and sewer), fire rings, and picnic tables suitable for any size camper. Guests can enjoy a variety of recreational activities including a swimming pool, basketball court, horseshoes, playground, game room with air hockey and ping pong, and nature trails leading to the Uwharrie River. The campground hosts summer events featuring cookouts and live music including gospel, country, and bluegrass. Located just 15 minutes from the North Carolina Zoo, one of the largest natural habitat zoos in the world, Holly Bluff provides an ideal base for exploring the region's attractions.
