This rustic campground is situated along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. With 42 sites for tents and small trailers, many offer direct access to the water. While a portion of the shoreline is rocky, the eastern side of the campground boasts a fantastic sandy beach accessible from the picnic area. Day-use visitors will find convenient parking adjacent to the picnic area, which includes tables, a fire ring and a charcoal grill. The campground is located 7.7 miles east of Naubinway via US-2. This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling. Explore Lake Michigan from the campground. Carry-in access is located at the day-use area, approximately 200 feet from the parking area. Some campsites have direct access to the lake. A picnic area is located on the east side of the campground and includes three picnic tables, one fire ring and one charcoal grill. This rustic campground is open all year; however, the campground and seasonal roads are not plowed.
