Highway 250 Campground offers a relaxed, family-oriented camping experience. Located on the northeast edge of Lanesboro, perfectly nestled between the Root River and Root River Trail system, our location is ideal to take in the activities of Historic Lanesboro and the Bluff Country Region. The campground consists of 98 large sites with water and electricity (30- and 50-amp service, dump station, a centrally located bathhouse, fire rings, and picnic tables; 62 sites have sewer hook-ups. The campground has a large playground, complete with space for basketball and sand volleyball, and the popular Root River Trail runs adjacent to the campground, stretching 30 miles each direction. For those who want to walk to town, it is only a mere four blocks walk. The campground offers a variety of amenities, including canoe and kayak rentals, shuttle service, and special events. Pets are welcome.
