Hermit Island Campground is a rustic, family-friendly campground located on Casco Bay in Phippsburg, Maine. The campground has 271 sites spread across the southern end of the island, each unique. Campers can enjoy beaches, trails, and boats, as well as free hot showers and bathrooms. The campground welcomes campers with tents, pop-up trailers, and truck campers, but no RVs or hard-topped campers. Reservations are required for a week or more, and a deposit of $125 is required. The campground is open from May 24 to October 14, and closed from October 14 to mid-May.
