Hardridge Creek Campground is situated on the shores of Walter F. George Lake, which stretches 85 miles along the Georgia and Alabama border on the Chattahoochee River. This recently upgraded campground offers 74 sites with modern amenities including flush toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities, and a dump station. The surrounding forested landscape features dense stands of mixed hardwoods and abundant wildlife including waterfowl, deer, eagles, hawks, and bobcats. The lake is renowned as an angler's paradise with largemouth bass, white bass, crappie, and catfish, offering 640 miles of shoreline for fishing and boating. Visitors can enjoy swimming, hiking, wildlife observation, and hunting in this scenic natural setting.
