Grey Cliffs Campground is located within Great Basin National Park, offering visitors an ideal base for exploring the park's natural wonders. Nestled beside limestone cliffs and surrounded by pinyon pines, the campground provides a serene desert experience featuring the solitude of the landscape, the distinctive scent of sagebrush after thunderstorms, and some of the darkest night skies in the region. The campground is situated near the spectacular Lehman Caves and serves as a gateway to numerous recreational opportunities including hiking trails with views of mountain peaks, alpine lakes, and the iconic 13,063-foot Wheeler Peak. Visitors can explore ancient Bristlecone pine trees, participate in guided cave tours, and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. The campground operates seasonally from Memorial Day through September and is an unstaffed facility, requiring visitors to bring confirmation paperwork for check-in.
