Greenpeace RV Park was founded in the mid-1980s by Pete Kavali. His vision was to nestle the park among the trees, creating shaded spaces in the South Georgia summers. The park has 50 ample lots with full hook-ups, making it a convenient option for workers who have temporarily moved for their jobs, as well as retired people, families, and short-term renters. The park offers a central mail kiosk with locked mailboxes and package delivery boxes, as well as central trash pickup twice weekly. The park is close to the Savannah Port, Georgia Power, Gulfstream, and Fort James, making it a great option for those who need to be in the area for work or other reasons.
