Great Bend Campground is a family-friendly facility nestled along the Sandy Creek, near where it flows into the Ohio River. The campground boasts 20 boat docks for pontoons or smaller boats and fishing. With 13 paved and level camper sites featuring sewer, water, and 50/30/20-amp electrical outlets, and 5 campsites with sewer, water, and 30-amp 110 electricity, there's something for every type of camper. The campground is open year-round and offers concrete walking trails, an ADA-compliant playground, and a kayak boat launch. Visitors can enjoy fishing, water sports, and mountain biking in the surrounding area. The campground is conveniently located near Cedar Lakes at Ripley, WV, Forked Run State Park in Portland, OH, Charleston, WV, Parkersburg, WV, and Athens, OH.
