About

The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest offers a wide range of recreation opportunities, including hiking, biking, climbing, and fishing. With over 6,000 miles of trails and 177 campgrounds, there is something for everyone. The Enchantments, a rugged and unique landscape within the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, require overnight permits. The forest is divided into six Ranger Districts, each offering a unique experience. Visitors can explore the Methow Valley, the Cle Elum Ranger District, and the 1-90 corridor, among other areas. The forest service recommends checking trailhead pages for up-to-date information on pass and fee requirements, closures, and other rules.
