Glendale Valley Campground is a peaceful and relaxing RV park and campground located in Central Pennsylvania near Altoona, just 2 miles from Prince Gallitzin State Park, Pennsylvania's third most visited state park, and Glendale Lake with its 26 miles of shoreline. Situated in the heart of the Alleghenies, the campground serves as an ideal homebase for exploring the region's numerous outdoor activities and scenic views. The facility features all full hookup RV sites with 30 and 50 amp service, new bath houses, WiFi availability, EV charging stations, and is pet-friendly. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities including hiking on over 30 miles of trails, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, ATV riding at nearby Rock Run Recreation Area, and hunting on surrounding game lands. The campground has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association with a 2025 Innovative Customer Service Award.
