Gila Hot Springs Campground is a family-owned 320-acre ranch located in Mimbres, New Mexico, about 40 miles north of Silver City and four miles south of the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument. Originally purchased by Doc Campbell in the 1940s, the campground continues to be operated with pride by the Campbell family. The property features naturally formed hot springs with mineral-rich waters surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Gila Wilderness, offering a unique blend of desert, alpine forest, and geothermal features. Visitors can enjoy soaking in the restorative hot pools, camping under star-filled skies, and disconnecting from daily stress. The campground is pet-friendly, welcoming guests to bring their furry companions, and offers both daytime access and overnight camping options with self-registration upon arrival.
