The Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands offer a wide range of recreation opportunities for all to enjoy. From winter sports to National Scenic Trails, visitors can find something for everyone. The forest and grasslands provide a beautiful setting with various activities such as biking, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting and shooting, off-highway vehicles, outdoor science and learning, picnicking, scenic drives, and water activities. The area is managed by the Forest Service, and visitors are encouraged to follow Leave No Trace principles and all applicable laws and regulations to leave the forest and grasslands better than they found them. The Visitor Information Map is available to help plan visits and find recreation sites and activities.
