Fern Ridge Shores is a quiet, 55+ community nestled lakeside between parks and a wildlife preserve. It includes large generous RV spaces with full hookups to accommodate all sizes of recreational vehicles from mega motorhomes to large 5th wheels and trailers, as well as park models. The park offers a wide range of recreational opportunities at Fern Ridge Lake, a large inland lake located just 12 miles west of Eugene, Oregon, where sailing, water skiing, fishing and cruising are enjoyed all season long. The lake is renowned for its steady predictable winds, mostly from either the north or from the west. Fishing is also a very popular activity at Fern Ridge Lake, with fish species including white crappie, brown bullhead catfish, largemouth bass and bluegill. The area includes extensive wetlands and provides unique habitat for a variety of wildlife and wintering waterfowl populations. In the warmer months, highs are typically in the 80's at Fern Ridge Shores, perfect for water sports or just relaxing by the lake.
