Elkhorn RV Resort & Cabins is a mountain retreat located in Lake City, Colorado, nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. The resort features six rustic cabins, two fully furnished cottages, and twenty-three spacious RV sites with full hookups, accommodating RVs up to 60 feet. Guests enjoy modern amenities including a laundry facility, bathhouse, Wi-Fi, and a community fire pit. The property is within walking distance to historic downtown Lake City's locally owned restaurants and shops, and offers convenient access to outdoor recreation including Lake San Cristobal, the second-largest high-alpine lake in Colorado, and Slumgullion Center, a certified International Dark-Sky Park. The resort serves as an ideal base for adventures such as trail riding Engineer or Cinnamon Pass, summiting Colorado 14ers, and exploring the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway.
