Echo Bay is located on the northwestern part of Lake Mead, accessible from the north from Overton or from the south from the Las Vegas Valley. The campground is about 5 miles from the turnoff to Echo Bay. Due to low water, the Echo Bay Boat Launch Ramp is closed, and the nearest boat launch access point is roughly 30 miles south at the Callville Bay launch ramp. Visitors can enjoy geologic, red rock formations and beautiful picnic areas on the Northshore Road Scenic Drive. The campground offers various amenities, including a boat ramp, electrical hookups, information kiosks, and picnic shelters. Please be aware of muddy shorelines with receding waters, as cars and people have gotten stuck.
