About

East Fork Campground is located on the shores of East Lynn Lake on the East Fork of Twelvepole Creek, near East Lynn, West Virginia. The campground offers 167 sites with electrical and/or water hookups, making it an accessible destination for RV and tent camping. The lake stretches 12 miles up Twelvepole Creek and features 44 miles of shoreline, providing excellent opportunities for boating, water skiing, canoeing, and swimming. Anglers can fish for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, black crappie, walleye, channel catfish, and muskellunge, with 29 species of fish found in the lake. The surrounding area features rolling hills forested with upland hardwoods and diverse wildlife including black bears, white-tailed deer, turkeys, and waterfowl. Visitors can enjoy several miles of hiking trails, including the 1.5-mile East Fork Trail that begins within the campground, along with the Damsite Trail, Overlook Trail, and Lakeside Trail. On-site amenities include flush and pit toilets, showers, a dump station, boat ramp, amphitheater, playground, and basketball and volleyball courts.
