East Fork Campground is situated on the southern shores of Lavon Lake in northern Texas, offering a popular escape for Dallas-area residents and travelers passing through the region. The campground provides a diverse range of accommodations including RV sites with water and electric hookups, tent-only sites, and equestrian sites with portable horse stalls. A key feature is that East Fork is the only campground at Lavon Lake offering 50-amp electricity. Visitors can enjoy a swimming beach, two boat ramps, hot showers, and access to the Trinity Trail for horseback riding and hiking. The 21,400-acre Lavon Lake offers excellent boating and fishing opportunities, with a maximum depth of around 59 feet. The campground also features a group shelter accommodating up to 175 guests, making it suitable for larger gatherings.
