Dupont Yurts is a luxury glamping destination located less than a mile from DuPont State Forest in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. The property features four luxury yurts designed to provide an experience that combines the adventure of camping with the comforts of a cabin. For traditional camping enthusiasts, the facility offers a brand-new campground with 17 full hook-up RV sites on Old Cabin Loop and 6 spacious sites with power and water along Sherry's Trail, plus access to a pristine bathhouse. The location serves as an ideal basecamp for outdoor adventures, with access to six breathtaking waterfalls, 80 miles of scenic hiking and biking trails, and stunning mountain landscapes. From April to October, guests can enjoy on-site dining at DuPont Canteen Ice Cream & More, which serves short-order food, hand-scooped ice cream, milkshakes, local craft beers, and ciders. Owned by Terry and Sherry McCracken, the property was created to offer visitors a unique opportunity to unplug, relax, explore, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
