About

Dungeness Recreation Area is a 216-acre park located adjacent to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFW) National Wildlife Refuge and offers access to the Dungeness Spit. The park features numerous day-use picnic tables with fire pits and benches, a playground in Loop 2, and scenic bluff trails. Campsites are available in two loops, with 66 forested sites and eight hiker/biker campsites. The park also has two fully ADA-accessible restrooms and coin-operated showers available from May through October. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, as well as picnicking and park amenities. The park is open from 6 am to 10 pm from May through September and 7 am to 9 pm from October through April. First come, first serve camping is available via self-registration at the park, and payment can be made using debit or credit cards.
