The Clements Scout Ranch is home to Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp and Camp Meisenbach. The ranch has a herd of horses just waiting to be ridden. Trail rides can be reserved on Saturday only. Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp and Camp Meisenbach have some of the best-stocked fishing lakes in the State of Texas. Just bring your rod and reel along with some bait, and you just might land yourself a giant largemouth bass. The ranch has 3,200 acres of pine forest with five lakes, offering amenities such as fishing, swimming, canoes, rowboats, shooting sports, and a COPE course. The camp also features an air-conditioned dining hall, fully plumbed private bath houses and restrooms, and 'Philmont style' backcountry camps. Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp has nine weekend campsites, 19 summer campsites, and a variety of wildlife trails, great fishing on all four lakes, rowboats, canoes, rifle, shotgun and archery ranges, and a first class Museum of Natural History. Camp Meisenbach has eight weekend campsites and beautiful Lake Murchison, which provides 160 acres of great fishing, several fishing docks, and a large pavilion along the water's edge. The Roy & Frances Rea COPE Center is a challenge course designed for youth at least 13 years old, and the John Coffman Climbing & Rappelling Complex is a 60 ft. wooden structure for climbing and rappelling activities.
