Dent Acres Campground is located in northern Idaho's scenic Clearwater Valley on the shores of Dworshak Lake, a 54-mile-long reservoir surrounded by forested, mountainous terrain. The campground features 49 pull-through sites and one back-in site, all accommodating everything from tent camping to large RVs, with each site offering water, 50/30 amp electricity hookups, sewage connections, fire pits, and covered picnic tables. Dworshak Lake is renowned for excellent fishing opportunities including kokanee salmon, rainbow trout, and smallmouth bass, along with outstanding boating, water skiing, and hunting. The facility provides flush toilets, shower houses, a boat ramp, fish cleaning station, playground, and a large reservable sun shelter accommodating up to 75 people. Visitors can enjoy hiking on multiple trails, wildlife viewing, and access to thousands of surrounding acres of public lands, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking both recreation and relaxation.
