About

Escape the bustle of the city and get back to nature just an hour north of the DFW Metroplex. Come play at Ray Roberts Lake State Park for the day or the weekend! On land, you can camp, hike, bike, ride your horse, rollerblade, geocache or go backpacking. On the water, you can swim at one of our beach areas (no lifeguards on duty). The park offers 49 campsites with water and electric hookups, 8 horse campsites, and 1 group site. You can also rent a cabin or lodge. The park is open year-round, and the park office is open from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The park has a nature center, a playground, and a picnic area. The park is located near the town of Pilot Point, and the nearby city of Denton has a variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. The park offers a variety of activities for all ages, including hiking, biking, horseback riding, and swimming. The park is a great place to get back to nature and enjoy the outdoors.
