Deer Rest Campground is a waterfront campground located in Warsaw, Missouri, offering beautiful views and direct access to water activities. Owned by lifetime Warsaw residents Charlie and Stacy McGann, the campground features a scenic setting where guests can enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing opportunities including deer, eagles, geese, and pelicans. The property recently underwent expansion with 46 additional full hook-up campsites added, and a store is coming soon. The campground is situated just minutes from Drake Harbor and Truman Lake, with nearby attractions including The Lost Valley Fish Hatchery and Harry S. Truman Overlook & Visitors Center. The facility offers clean shower facilities, restrooms, and allows pets on leash in most areas. The campground operates seasonally, closing November 15 and reopening March 1.
