Davis Lake Campground is a scenic recreation area located within the National Forests in Mississippi, situated along the eastern shore of beautiful Davis Lake. The campground features 27 campsites nestled in a hilly mixed hardwood and pine forest, offering a picturesque setting for outdoor enthusiasts. The 200-acre lake provides excellent opportunities for swimming, fishing for largemouth bass, hybrid striped bass, crappie, catfish and bream, boating, and wildlife viewing. The area is known for abundant bird species including geese, ducks, hawks, herons, bluebirds and doves, as well as foxes and bobcats. Located just 4 miles from the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway and near several recreational trails including the Chickasaw OHV Trail and Tanglefoot Trail, Davis Lake offers visitors a diverse range of outdoor activities in a natural, peaceful setting.
