Dames Ferry Campground

About
Dames Ferry is the only campground at 3,600-acre Lake Juliette, a crystal-clear lake formed by the Ocmulgee River. Many of the campsites have magnificent waterfront views. Anglers can cast a line for bream, crappie, largemouth bass, striped bass, redear and perch. Boating is limited to 25 horsepower motors. Nearby is the small town of Juliette made famous in the movie “Fried Green Tomatoes.” The campground is overseen by nearby High Falls State Park.
