About
The Cumberland Trail Conservancy is a non-profit organization building the Cumberland Trail since 1997. The trail is a 300-mile long footpath that spans across Tennessee, offering scenic views and opportunities for hiking, trail running, and exploration. The conservancy's mission is to bring the trail to life, one mile at a time, for hikers, neighbors, and future generations. The organization is committed to craftsmanship, enduring vision, and adventure and access. Volunteers have contributed 1188 hours in 2025, and 12418 feet of trail have been built this year. The conservancy is working to complete the trail, which will inspire adventure, support conservation, and strengthen the people and places it touches.
