Crystal Springs Campground is located on the scenic shores of Lake Ouachita in Arkansas, nestled in the Ouachita Mountains just 10 miles west of Hot Springs National Park. The campground offers 63 sites with electric and water hookups, plus a reservable group campsite, making it an ideal destination for families, friends, and couples. Lake Ouachita is fed by the cool waters of the Ouachita River and spans approximately 40,000 surface acres over 30 miles, attracting about 1.2 million visitors annually. The area is renowned for its crystal clear waters and scenic mountain landscape, offering excellent opportunities for fishing, water skiing, hiking, boating, and scuba diving. The lake's high underwater visibility makes it particularly popular for diving, and visitors may spot rare freshwater jellyfish and striped bass. Winter months bring bald eagles, attracting bird watchers and photographers.
