Crown Point Camping Area is a family-owned and operated campground located in the Green Mountains of Central Vermont, situated above the shores of Stoughton Pond in Perkinsville. The campground features a beautifully level and mature pine plantation setting that provides a perfect mixture of sun and shade on a blanket of pine needles. Crown Point offers both summer and winter camping experiences, with summer operations from May 1 through October 13 and winter camping available on a monthly or seasonal basis from December 1st through March 31st. The campground is pet-friendly and kid-friendly, offering a wide range of amenities including three full-facility bathhouses, a new Crown Point Lagoon for swimming, and numerous recreational activities such as fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking. Guests also enjoy planned weekend activities, theme weekends, bingo, potluck dinners, and Saturday night bonfires. The campground provides direct access to the VAST snowmobile trail network for winter enthusiasts and features fiber optic WiFi availability.
