Creekside Campground and Event Center is a small, privately owned and operated campground located just 30 minutes drive Northeast from Boise and 6 miles south of Historic Idaho City. The campground has 10 camping sites that will accommodate most RV vehicles and has an onsite privy and coin operated hot showers. Each campsite has its own picnic table and a pedestal barbecue. The location offers a playground with two swings, tether ball and a sandbox to keep the kids happy and occupied while you relax. The campground is situated on the Ponderosa Scenic Byway with year round 'Mores' Creek running through the entire campground area. Trout and salmon can be fished from the creek during allowed seasons. The location can accommodate up to 250 people with our overflow parking area for daytime events such as weddings, family reunions, corporate company camp-outs or other group activities. Nearby Idaho City has many activities during the summer months and offers several restaurants, two small grocery stores, many small shops, post office and the Boise Basin Museum.
