Cranfield Park is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground situated on a river island surrounded by the clear waters of Norfork Lake, the closest developed campground to Mountain Home, Arkansas. The park features 69 well-shaded campsites with electric hookups and offers stunning views of the 22,000-acre lake, which is surrounded by densely wooded Ozark Mountains hills and hollows. Visitors can enjoy a marina and boat ramp for water sports, two playgrounds, an amphitheater, and a 0.75-mile nature trail accessible from the campground. The lake is excellent for fishing, with abundant bass, walleye, crappie, bream, and catfish, while hiking trails throughout the area provide picturesque overlooks of the Ozarks. The park is one of 19 developed facilities lining Norfork Lake, offering plenty of opportunities for boating, swimming, and exploring the natural beauty of the region.
