The Cottonwood Campground is located in the Boise National Forest. The campground offers a diverse range of recreation opportunities, including biking, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting and shooting, off-highway vehicles, outdoor science and learning, picnicking, water activities, and winter sports. The Cascade Ranger District, which includes the campground, offers over 400,000 acres of National Forest, while the Emmett Ranger District manages more than 150 camping units in 21 developed campgrounds. The campground is a great base for exploring the surrounding area, which offers scenic beauty, wildlife viewing, and a range of outdoor activities.
