Coleridge Nebraska is a modern farming community of 473 people located in the southern heart of Cedar County. The community has two parks, the City Park and Memorial park, which offer playground equipment, shelter houses, restrooms, ball diamonds, tennis courts, a lighted basketball court, disc golf, a grandstand, concession stand, and free camping. The parks are very busy in the summer providing entertainment for young and old alike. The community also hosts various annual events such as the American Legion Dinner on Memorial Day, Avenue of Flags and program at the City Cemetery on Memorial Day weekend, and the Community Club Ribfest & Cornhole Tournament. Additionally, the community has access to fitness centers, golf courses, swimming pools, bowling alleys, theaters, and excellent hunting opportunities. The Cedar County fair is held in Hartington in July.
