Clayton Hills Campground is located where Clayton Road meets the scenic Great River Road between Garnavillo, Iowa, and Clayton, Iowa. It is less than a three-minute drive to the Mississippi River. A public boat ramp in Clayton gives you convenient access for fishing, boating, and sightseeing. Our season runs from May 1 to October 31, weather permitting. We have overnight camping available for campers and tent camping. We also offer seasonal camping sites with water and electricity included. Our campground has a large Rec building that can be rented for different gatherings or special occasions. We have a playground, basketball court, volleyball net, and plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes or run around in. We have two different bath houses at our campground with toilets and showers. We also host an Annual Chili Cook-Off and a couple of karaoke nights each season.
