The Chisel Branch Campsite is a hiker-biker campsite named after a stream that crosses beneath the canal approximately half a mile from the site. Amenities include a chemical toilet, water, picnic table, and grill. The campsite is located near the C&O Canal National Historical Park and offers easy access to the park's trails and attractions. Please note that potable water may not be available at each campsite, and water is treated with iodine. It is recommended to have water purification tablets with you. Water is turned off from November 15 to April 15 each year.
