Chilatchee Creek Campground is a scenic waterfront facility located on Dannelly Reservoir in Alabama's Black Prairie Belt, part of the Alabama River Lakes system. The reservoir covers approximately 27 square miles with over 500 miles of shoreline, offering a picturesque setting characterized by rolling grasslands and dense hardwood and pine forests. The campground features 33 family sites with electric hookups and amenities including flush toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Visitors can enjoy excellent fishing for bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish, as well as boating, hunting, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The park includes a fishing dock, boat ramp, fish cleaning stations, and a playground, making it an ideal destination for outdoor recreation enthusiasts.
