Cedar Bend Park is the largest park in Bremer County, Iowa, consisting of 180 acres. The park offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities, including over 4 miles of trails, picnic and playground areas, sand volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. The campground has over 60 sites with electrical outlets, a dump station, flush toilets, and shower facilities. The park is open from May 1st to October 31st, and camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The park is located 1.5 miles northwest of Waverly, Iowa, and offers a scenic setting with forests, fields, and a river's edge.
