Cathedral Pines Campground is a scenic 300-acre campground located in Eustis, Maine, nestled in a beautiful mature red pine forest on the shore of Flagstaff Lake at 1,150 feet above sea level. The campground offers 115 tent and trailer sites, with 98 featuring electrical and water hookups, all equipped with fireplaces and tables. Operated on a non-profit basis by the Stratton-Eustis Development Corporation, the facility is designed for restful camping with well-spaced sites that provide privacy, making it especially appealing for families with children. The campground features a private beach, playground, rec hall, boat ramp, docking facility, and offers canoe and kayak rentals. Located four miles north of Stratton village and 26 miles south of the Canadian border, the campground sits on the historic site of one of Benedict Arnold's stops during his 1775 march to Quebec City. The Cathedral Pines are famous for their natural beauty and serve as a regular tourist attraction in this part of Maine.
