About

Carley State Park Campground is a unique park in southeastern Minnesota that features high bluffs, deep valleys, and rolling uplands. The park offers nearly 6 miles of packed dirt hiking trails with various scenery, including valley floors and rock ridges. Visitors can see a parade of early wildflowers in the spring or a display of colorful oaks and maples in the fall. The park also protects a portion of the Blufflands Landscape Region and is home to a variety of bird species. In addition, the north branch of the Whitewater River is a designated trout stream, providing good habitat for brown and rainbow trout. The park is open daily from 8 a.m.–10 p.m. and offers a large open game field and a playground next to the picnic area.
