Lake Capote Recreation Area is a campground located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The campground offers tent sites and RV sites for general public and Southern Ute Tribal Members. The campground is open from March 30 to October 27, and during the 4 days-a-week operating schedule, campers and RVs are welcome to stay overnight Thursday through Saturday nights. The campground has a fee of $18 for tent sites and $25 for RV sites per day for general public, and free for Southern Ute Tribal Members. The fishing permit rates are $10 for adult fishing and $4 for youth fishing per day for general public, and $4 for adult fishing and free for youth fishing per day for Southern Ute Tribal Members.
