About
The Kickapoo Valley Reserve offers primitive camping at 33 sites, with vehicle-accessible sites available for $20/night and canoe-accessible sites available for $15/night. All campers must register and obtain camping permits prior to setting up camp. Sites are primitive and do not have water or toilet facilities, but potable water and bathrooms are available at the Visitor Center. River access sites can be challenging and difficult to get to with full camping gear, and riverbank camping is not allowed due to dangers of flash floods. The Reserve asks that visitors leave no trace of their visit and follow the Leave No Trace principles.
