Camp Woodpecker is a private, members-only gay camping retreat nestled in the woods of west-central Alabama, exclusively for men 18 and older. Designed as a welcoming, inclusive, and judgment-free space, the campground offers a clothing-optional atmosphere where guests can relax and connect with like-minded individuals. The facility features a variety of accommodations including lodge rooms, poolside rooms, private cabins, and RV and tent sites. Amenities include two salt water pools, two hot tubs, a sauna, dining and activity pavilion, outdoor kitchen, and coffee bar with indoor social room. Camp Woodpecker hosts regular events throughout the year, from work weekends and holiday celebrations to themed weekends and artisan bazaars, creating a vibrant community experience centered on relaxation, socialization, and outdoor enjoyment.
