About

Camp Tuscazoar is Ohio's most historic camp, founded over a century ago by Scout leaders who recognized the value of the land's beauty and history for youth development. Operating under the Camp Tuscazoar Foundation, an Ohio non-profit corporation, the camp continues to serve scouts and other youth organizations. The facility welcomes large numbers of weekend campers, hikers, mountain bikers, and horse riders throughout the year. Camp Tuscazoar hosts a variety of events including Maple Days, Dover Dam Weekend, yoga retreats, and river cleanup activities. The camp features historic trails, including a Centennial Trail marking 100 historic sites, and offers opportunities for service projects, cross country team training camps, and mountain biking activities.
