About

Camp Taylor Campground is a family-owned and operated campground nestled in the picturesque mountains of Northwest New Jersey, spanning 400 acres of unspoiled forest with 120 sites. Since its founding in 1964, the Taylor family has provided a serene retreat for nature lovers. Situated near the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and the renowned Appalachian Trail, Camp Taylor offers direct hiking access to Worthington State Forest and numerous trails. The campground caters to all camping preferences with primitive tent sites, electric and water hookups, and cozy rustic and deluxe cabins. Amenities include a two-acre lake for swimming, playground, recreation field, miniature golf, volleyball, horseshoes, and cornhole. The on-site Lakota Wolf Preserve offers educational talks and photo opportunities, with the howling of wolves audible from campsites, creating a remote wilderness experience. Despite this natural setting, the campground is only a short drive from dozens of family attractions, restaurants, and shopping venues in the New Jersey Skylands and Pennsylvania Poconos. The campground is open late April to late October.
