Camp Tahquitz is a historic Boy Scout camp located at 41700 State Highway 38 in the Angelus Oaks area of the San Bernardino Mountains, sitting on one square mile (640 acres) of pristine forestland. Since opening in 1925, the camp has served hundreds of thousands of youth from greater Long Beach, Southern California, and the western United States. At 6,500 feet elevation, Camp Tahquitz offers clean air and an agreeable climate, making it an ideal destination year-round. The camp features a heated swimming pool, zip line, archery, shotgun range, climbing wall, horseback riding, and numerous other activities. Beyond summer camp programs, the facility is available for year-round rental by organizations, groups, families, and units for tent camping, cabin stays, and lodge accommodations, making it suitable for reunions, retreats, and various group events.
