About
The Mississippi Riverlands Council serves Scouts in Central, East and Southwest Mississippi since 1937. It is the result of a merger between the Andrew Jackson Council and the Choctaw Area Council, effective March 2026. The council encourages users to click on top-level business and council initiatives, and it has a recommended homepage section that includes Donate, Join, and Scout Shop. The council has two service centers in Jackson and Meridian, and it is connected with users through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. The council's mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for Scouts to learn and grow.
