About
The Deschutes National Forest offers a variety of recreation opportunities, including biking, climbing and caving, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting and shooting, off-highway vehicles, other activities, outdoor science and learning, picnicking, scenic drives, and water activities. The forest is conducting projects to improve access, sustainability, and safety to treasured places across Central Oregon, funded in part by the Great American Outdoors Act. The Deschutes National Forest is a part of the Pacific Northwest Region, managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
