Camp Rio Vista is a family-owned property located along HWY 98 near Meadville, MS. The property is composed of lands once occupied by the Natchez Indians and in more recent times, farmed and homesteaded by the area's respectable Mageehee family. The property was also a part of the old Rio Vista Plantation, which cultivated the fertile Homochitto bottom lands. The camp offers a drug and alcohol-free environment, bringing wholesome fun and adventure to families. Activities include camping, RVing, floating down the Homochitto River, hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and a newly added 800' zipline. The campgrounds are located near local grocery stores, a community hospital, and the Homochitto National Forest, offering public hunting opportunities.
