Camp Remote is a 120-acre wooded campground and retreat center nestled in southern Oregon's Coastal mountain range, featuring a beautiful Myrtlewood grove. Built from the ground up beginning in 1967 and owned and operated by Community of Christ, the facility has been developed for youth camps, adult retreats, and community gatherings. Located 35 minutes from Myrtle Point and an hour from the Oregon coast, Camp Remote offers a range of lodging accommodations including large dormitory quads, smaller cabins, tent camping areas, and RV camping. The facility provides comprehensive amenities such as a commercial kitchen, dining hall, bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and fire pits. Camp Remote's mission welcomes all visitors to worship, learn, grow, and play in a peaceful spiritual community while experiencing God's creation.
