Founded in 1923 by Jewish labor activists as a retreat for their children from the tenements of NYC, Camp Kinderland is true to the vision of its founders. In a difficult world, we are an oasis for children ages 9 to 16; a place where they can be themselves, feel at ease, and work and play in an atmosphere of cooperation and trust. Camp Kinderland offers a variety of activities such as swimming, boating, and arts and crafts. The camp also has a strong focus on social justice and community building. With its rich history and commitment to its values, Camp Kinderland provides a unique and enriching experience for its campers.
